BlackBerry Motion has a Nano Diamond Screen? - Durability test!

BlackBerry Attempts to Compete with iPhone and Android

The tech world is buzzing with the
unveiling of the two newest smartphones to hit the market. During an event in
New York City this morning, BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins made several
surprising announcements sure to get heads turning. In addition to changing the
company name from "Research in Motion" to simply "BlackBerry," he
officially announced the launch of three new BlackBerry smartphones, which will
serve as a last-ditch effort to compete in the ever-changing world of
smartphone technology that up until now has been dominated by Apple and the
Samsung Androids.

The
three phones-the Blackberry 10, Z10, and Q10-will all use the brand new BlackBerry operating system, BlackBerry 10, which the
company has been working on tirelessly for two years. The Z10 will feature a
touch-screen face, while the Q10 will have a QWERTY keyboard, the signature
feature that made BlackBerrys so desirable in their prime. The Z10 will be the
major competitor for the iPhone and GalaxyS3. Even though the screen is
slightly larger than the iPhone's and has a better quality resolution, user
compatibility is being criticized-a frequent
complaint about the existing BlackBerry models.

While
techies are itching to get their hands on the new device, there are other
criticisms about the launch that could make this a tough sell for smartphone
users. Firstly, Heins never
announced when the phone will officially be available for consumers to
purchase. Both Samsung and Apple have had concrete release dates at the time of
their launch announcements, which only further propelled the mystery and
excitement around them. If BlackBerry doesn't launch their new phones until April,
the concern is that with a new Samsung Galaxy launch in April (as well as the
iPhone 5 release with T-Mobile), BlackBerry could be heavily overshadowed.

Overall, it seems BlackBerry has a
real shot at success with these brand-new phones, giving us evenmoreways to stay constantly connected.

smartphones will be a success? Comment Below!
