Made this wonderful side dish on Christmas Day, mainly for some guests attending dinner that have gone with a Vegan lifestyle. Not only did they love it, but so did everyone else! Had just a little salad left over for the next day to enjoy, and found it held up well. Very delicious and tasty. A keeper that I will make often for family and friends.

Absolutely love this quick to fix salad....only change I make is to use canned pineapple tidbits! Also I use more dressing due to personal preference!!! You gotta try it!! Everyone I have made it for absolutely loves it!!! Toast a bag of almonds ahead of time and it will be done in 5 minutes (excluding marinating time)!!

Added lemon juice. Horrible. Added apple. Horrible. Added more dressing. Even sauted it. Horrible. Wasted good ingredients. Now in the trash. Bad! Bad! Bad! Deserves zero stars as far as we are concerned.

Even with all of the different ages attending the party, they all loved it! I did make a couple changes. I added 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar directly to the ingredients, stirred well, and then added the (light) Zesty Italian dressing.

I thought this recipe sounded SO good, but I would say it turned out just okay. I made it according to the recipe...it seemed like something was missing. Not sure what, but it was pretty good. I only had 1 person rave about it...an older woman at work. Probably wouldn't make this one again.

I have carried it to several functions and it is always a big hit. I have always used canned pineapple in juice as fresh pineapple is too expensive for my budget. I make up for the missed sweetness from the pineapple by using 2 tsp of brown sugar.

Love this recipe and have made it several times - always a huge hit!! First time I left out pineapple because I had none on hand; 2nd time used the pineapple. Like it much better without pineapple. So easy, and leftovers (IF you have any) are still good 3 days later.

I made this for Memorial day and I have almost single-handedly eaten the whole bowl. Our son is sensitive to pineapple so I used a can of mandarin oranges. Also left out the red onion. Really liked it and it's not too soggy even 2 days later.
